Over 100 survey participants indicated rationale to enroll in the MoM course was for Professional Development or To create my own MOOC. This maps well to the intent of training or application held by the instructors.

Few survey participants indicated enrolling in the MoM course for Personal interest, which has been shown to be a common rationale for enrolment in MOOCs.
